Back by popular demand, Glitterverse Productions and the Midnight Blue Jazz Society are bringing Big Band Burlesque back to the Rec Room on March 21, 2020 for 2 shows!
Big Band Burlesque is a celebration of all things fun and sexy! The concert space of the Rec Room will be transformed into the 20’s dance hall Club Obi Wan and will be set ablaze with an all-star cast of western Canada’s premier burlesque performers led by our headliner, Portia Favro from Vancouver, BC. Portia is an award-winning dancer, choreographer, and powerhouse dance and burlesque instructor with extensive experience working across Canada, Europe and the US.
Join us our traditional 17-piece traditional big band takes you on a musical journey through the last century with hints of swing, jazz, blues, latin, funk, classic rock and our own take on modern hits.
